Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG)

PASG is an international, not-for-profit corporation. PASG has 440 members – mostly mental health and legal professionals – from 47 countries. The members of PASG are interested in educating the general public, mental health clinicians, forensic practitioners, attorneys, and judges regarding parental alienation. PASG members are also interested in developing and promoting research on the causes, evaluation, prevention, and treatment of parental alienation.

As the former secretary of the board, Joy continues to promote Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience STAR training. STAR training created after 9/11 has a 14 year history of successfully teaching community leaders and care providers how to be trauma-informed, resilience-oriented, and restorative-focused within their spheres of influence. He reunified with his father as an adult and now helps save parent-child relationships in over 25 countries by giving parents a step-by-step roadmap of exactly what to say or do based on their specific situation.

Love Them First

Joy is proud of her "Special Thanks" listing at the end of the award-winning documentary film about a Minnesota elementary school. The film is free on Kare11's YouTube channel. Please like and share it with friends... another example of the unique ways Joy works to improve the well-being of children.  Joy collaborated with the film producers to record Cornbread Harris'  original music composition in the film.

MN family case story published “The Girls Are Gone”

Joy's strategy and non-therapeutic program team member work with this MN case is published in the award winning book "The Girls Are Gone". With permission of the father, Joy cooperated with the authors to publish her work as a lessons-learned and case study example of successful family reunification.
